Mandriva Linux Security Advisory MDKSA-2006:180
http://www.mandriva.com/security/
_______________________________________________________________________

Package : php
Date : October 5, 2006
Affected: 2006.0, 2007.0
_______________________________________________________________________

Problem Description:

An integer overflow was discovered in the PHP memory handling routines.
If a script can cause memory allocation based on untrusted user data, a remote attacker sending a carefully crafted request could execute arbitrary code as the 'apache' user.

Updated packages have been patched to correct these issues.
